Station and tourism office in Haiden / Appenzellerland (CH)

Where the heart sings

Appenzeller Bahnen opened new sales rooms at the railway station in February 2016. The redesigned sales area is shared by railway company Appenzeller Bahnen, who use it as a sales counter, and by Appenzellerland Tourism, who use it as a tourist information point.

Our veneered boards Antique Oak in Charismo Natural Mix quality were used to panel the counters and shelves in the new sales rooms and also for the completely redesigned reception area for guests. The area is now open-plan and friendly and looks inviting from every aspect. A Swiss team of installers, planners, architects and employees of Kaindl partner company Stark in Altstätten began work at the beginning of November 2015. The official grand opening took place on 19 February 2016. The effort was really worthwhile. Contemporary interior finishing and shop-fitting and the use of the best tree fillet have turned a conventional commonplace interior into a real nature-oriented eye-catcher.
